
Together with the Nuit Européenne Des Musées, the sixteenth edition of Rome's Night of Museums will take place on Saturday, May 23rd, the historic and eagerly awaited event that links art, culture, and entertainment.
As usual, the Night of Museums 2026 will offer special opening hours from 8:00 PM on Saturday to 2:00 AM on Sunday (last admission at 1:00 AM) of the Civic Museums of Rome and many other cultural spaces in the city, combined with a rich program of events and live performances including concerts, shows, screenings, exhibitions, and many other activities.
The Civic Museums involved include: the Capitoline Museums, the Capitoline Museums Centrale Montemartini, the Ara Pacis Museum, Trajan's Market – Museum of the Imperial Fora, the Museum of Rome, the Napoleonic Museum, the Museum of Rome in Trastevere, the Pietro Canonica Museum in Villa Borghese, the Museums of Villa Torlonia (Casina delle Civette, Casino Nobile, Serra Moresca), the Carlo Bilotti Museum – Orangery of Villa Borghese, the Giovanni Barracco Museum of Ancient Sculpture, the Civic Museum of Zoology, the Museum of the Roman Republic and Garibaldi Memorial, the Modern Art Gallery, the Casal de' Pazzi Museum, and the Celio Archaeological Park.
The Ministry of Culture is once again participating in the event, now in its twentieth edition, with evening openings of state museums and cultural venues at the symbolic cost of 1 euro (excluding free admission required by law).
