On Saturday 7 December 2024, the 14th edition of Musei in Musica 2024, one of the highlights of Rome's cultural and entertainment programme, awaits you.
Musei in Musica is an unmissable opportunity to attend a rich programme of concerts and live performances and, at the same time, stroll through the halls of the museums among imperial busts, Napoleonic relics or eighteenth-century paintings and visit the current exhibitions.
The civic museums of Roma Capitale will be extraordinarily open to everyone in the evening hours, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. (last admission at 1 a.m.), with an entrance fee of € 1, or completely free for Roma MIC Card holders.
Among the museums involved are Musei Capitolini, Centrale Montemartini, Mercati di Traiano - Musei dei Fori Imperiali, Museo dell’Ara Pacis, Museo di Roma, Museo Napoleonico, Museo di Roma in Trastevere, Museo Pietro Canonica, Musei di Villa Torlonia (Casina delle Civette, Casino Nobile, Serra Moresca), Museo Carlo Bilotti, Museo di scultura antica Giovanni Barracco, Museo Civico di Zoologia, Museo della Repubblica Romana e della memoria garibaldina, Galleria d'Arte Moderna, Museo di Casal de' Pazzi, Parco archeologico del Celio - Museo della Forma Urbis.
There are also other significant sites in the city, such as institutional sites - not always accessible to the public or only open during regular daytime hours - universities, academies, foreign institutes, exhibition and cultural spaces, which are exceptionally open in the evening.
Musei in Musica is promoted by Roma Capitale, Assessorato alla Cultura - Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali, with the organisation of Zètema Progetto Cultura.
