Andrea Casta - The Space Violin

An experience that goes beyond music: a journey between images, special effects and an explosive mix of pop, rock and electronic dance. Andrea Casta, known as the “Jedi violinist” for his luminous bow that evokes the Star Wars saga, lands for the first time at the Roman Theater in Ostia Antica to start a journey between nature and the future, between special effects and a crossover musical journey, from Queen to Bowie, Morricone to Battisti, and Andrea’s own original productions. His violin music, accompanied by a sound designer, is complemented by visual content, light designs and immersive effects that will envelop the audience.

Casta was among the musical stars of the opening ceremony of the 2021 World Ski Championships in Cortina, opened Vasco Rossi’s double Roman concert in 2022, and, again at the Circus Maximus, participated in the 2023 New Year’s Eve concert of Roma Capitale. The multifaceted musician has started touring the world again, and has entered the 2022 “DjMag Top100” list of the best DJs and producers, compiled annually by the prestigious British magazine.
