“Music teaches us the most important thing that exists: to listen.
Music is like life, it can only be done in one way: together".
Ezio Bosso
As part of the Romaeuropa Festival, the Auditorium Parco della Musica hosts the evocative tribute of the PMCE - Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble, dedicated to the eclectic musician one year after his untimely death.
On stage are young musicians and famous soloists from the European scene, conducted by Tonino Battista. The concert opens with the beautiful and moving notes of the composition Road Signs Variations for 11 Instruments and leads to the performance of a series of duets unpublished so far.
A Conductor, composer and pianist, with his notes, Ezio Bosso was able to touch the audience heart, captivating the general public, freeing classical music from all boundaries. "Music is a real magic; it is no coincidence that the conductors have wands like magicians", the Maestro used to say. He marked an unforgettable page of contemporary Italian music with his compositions, film soundtracks, extraordinary international opera collaborations.
