Roma Pride 2026

32nd edition

“La Repubblica è di chi la abita” (The Republic belongs to those who live in it) is the slogan chosen for the Roma Pride, the hugely popular, colourful and joyful parade that celebrates the pride and the struggle for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, and for the defence of rights, visibility and true equality.

The programme for Pride Croisette, one of the most eagerly awaited cultural and artistic events of Roma Pride 2026, which from 28 May to 20 June will bring the extraordinary setting of the Baths of Caracalla to life as part of the historic Jazz & Image festival, features events, performances, talks, music and opportunities for civil and political debate. The line-up will include some of the most influential voices in contemporary Italian culture, the arts and activism.

Margherita Vicario will officially open this edition, headlining a special live event scheduled for 28 May during the event’s opening Grand Gala.

Guests at Pride Croisette 2026, under the artistic direction of Daniele Palano, include BigMama, Federica Cacciola, Fabio Canino, Serena Bortone, Marco Bianchi, Pierluca Mariti, Chiara Galeazzi, Antonino, Pino Strabioli, Le Karma B, Alessio Marzilli, Marcello Cesena, Simona Garbarino, Lorenzo Cantarini, Giulia Ottonello and Laura Pirrigheddu, alongside performers, artists, musicians, activists and collectives from all over Italy.

There will also be a strong focus on political and social debate through talks and public meetings with opportunities for discussion, dialogue and in-depth analysis on civil rights, employment, inclusion, freedom and the role of politics in building a fairer, more accessible and democratic society.

Among the most eagerly awaited events is the major concert on 19 June at Atlantico Live, featuring Levante, Francesca Michielin and Margherita Vicario, the festival's official ambassadors. They will be joined on stage by Malika Ayane, Sarah Toscano and Alexia, for an evening that will bring together different generations, languages and sensibilities in a single collective narrative of freedom, solidarity and celebration.

The following day, 20 June, thousands of people will take to the streets of Rome for the Great Parade of Roma Pride 2026, the event’s symbolic closing ceremony. Departure at 3.30 pm from Piazza della Repubblica.

The history of Roma Pride began in 1994, the year of the first national Gay Pride. The event, attended not only by politicians from the capital but also by Italian and European political figures, attracted over ten thousand participants and was a resounding success.
