The author's music is the protagonist at the Auditorium Parco della Musica with the dreamlike and intimate atmospheres of the great pianist and composer, performing in four unmissable concerts on the occasion of the Roma Summer Fest.
During the scheduled concerts, Einaudi presents Underwater, the album born during the lockdown, including 12 tracks for piano only, which show the artist's most intimate and emotional side. On stage, accompanying the pianist, are three talented musicians: Redi Hasa on the cello, Federico Mecozzi on the violin, and Francesco Arcuri on electronics and percussion.
Einaudi, born in 1955, has achieved international fame for his extraordinary compositions for ballet, theatre and cinema. Among his great successes are the soundtracks of Nomadland by Chloé Zhao and The Father by Florian Zeller, winner of the Academy Award in 2021, and numerous pieces for orchestra and ensemble performed at the Scala in Milan, the Ircam in Paris, and the Lincoln Center in New York.
Ludovico Einaudi is a musician of rigorous classical training, achieved under the guidance of Luciano Berio. He boasts an exceptional career and has achieved international fame, thanks to his continuous research and his minimalist style, elegant and eclectic style, which combines the elements of classical music with the jazz jam-sessions, the sounds of pop, rock, electronic, folk and contemporary music.
