Libri Come. Festa del libro e della lettura

Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone will host the festival produced by the Fondazione Musica per Roma dedicated to reading, this year in its 14th edition, with presentations, readings, meetings, lectures, dialogues, performances and exhibitions with important Italian and International writers.

As in past editions, the festival has a key word that signals a path of encounters. The theme chosen for 2023 is Power, a boundless word that will be addressed with different languages (nonfiction, fiction, photography, art, music) and in the different fields in which it manifests itself as limit, hierarchy, overpowering, but also in a different sense: the possibility of acting and perhaps changing those limits and hierarchies.

The appointments on the calendar will feature, among others, French writer, screenwriter and director Emmanuel Carrère with journalist Francesca Mannocchi; cartoonist Zero Calcare with Chiara Valerio; historian and philologist Luciano Canfora; Niccolò Ammaniti with Emanuele Trevi; British writer Ian McEwan with Sandro Veronesi; Daniel Pennac with Valeria Parrella; and David Grossman with Marino Sinibaldi. Closing the review are Javier Cercas, Katja Petrowskaja, Miguel Gotor and Marino Sinibaldi, with a tribute to Hanif Kureishi and Salman Rushdie with readings by Valerio Aprea.
