Choreographer Christos Papadopulos presents his latest work in the Sala Petrassi of the Auditorium, a REF co-production and Auditorium Parco della Musica.
With Larsen C, this is the title of the dance show, the Greek choreographer, after the successes of Elvedon (REF 2016) and Opus (REF 2018), continues his research on appearance and deception, the two fundamental elements around which his art revolves, which is expressed in the repetition of movement and in the transformation of states of the body, generating new perceptual experiences, with multiple meanings.
Papadopulos, in his choreographies, manages to materialize elements such as the passing of time or the spread of sound; metaphors of natural events such as soil erosion, the flow of water, the fading of light at sunset.
In this show, pushing beyond the limits of its exploration, it focuses on the deceptiveness of our perceptions: on how the alteration of a body movement, the change of sound or light in a set can totally change what we see or hear.
