The Napoleonic Museum presents a cycle of four female video-narratives.
Four short stories that immortalize, like narrative snapshots, the fascinating profiles of four Bonaparte women: Mathilde, Charlotte, Eugenia and Ortensia. Strong and fragile personalities, charismatic and controversial women, wives, mothers, daughters, artists and collectors, kaleidoscopic protagonists of the Napoleonic era between the First and Second Empire.
First episode - Mathilde. Nostra Signora delle Arti
Curated by Giorgia Basili, Emanuela Di Vivona, Elena Fratini, Giulia Mattioni (project "A house museum in the heart of Rome", Museo Napoleonico, S.C.U.). Coordinated by Laura Panarese.
