Celio Stellato (Starry Celio)

From July 8th to September 18th, 2026, evenings at Celio will light up with Celio Stellato (Starry Celio), the free film and cultural festival in the Celio Azzurro spaces. The program includes arthouse films under the stars, education, and activities for children and families, just steps from the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill.

Celio Hill thus becomes a cultural arena open to the city, with free cinema, masterclasses, and workshops. This year, four masterclasses dedicated to casting and audiovisual professions, twelve film screenings, and four workshops on the environment, biodiversity, and food culture are planned. The masterclasses will take place on July 8, 10, 15, and 17, 2026; the screenings and workshops will take place from September 7 to 18, 2026, with the final event on September 18.

The project, promoted by Roma Capitale – Department of Culture, is the winner of the public notice Creative Rome 365. Culture all year round, in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura.
