OUT OF SITE is the title of the fourth edition of the Festival of Foreign Academies and Cultural Institutes, curated by Francesca Barbi Marinetti.
The event celebrates the annually renewed community of scholarship holders who, thanks to the ongoing involvement of the Academies and Cultural Institutes, bring artists and researchers from various disciplines into dialogue with the history, people, and places of the capital. Following previous editions of the Festival, this edition aims to enhance this important network with a series of meetings at Palazzo Esposizioni and the MACRO.
The Festival is organized in collaboration with the Academia Belgica, the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici, the Egyptian Academy in Rome, the Romanian Academy in Rome, the Hungarian Academy in Rome, the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, the German Academy Rome Villa Massimo, the American Academy in Rome, the Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History, the British School at Rome, the Czech Center Rome, the Turkish Cultural Center “Yunus Emre”, the Scandinavian Circle, the Austrian Cultural Forum Rome, the Goethe-Institut Rom, IILA – International Italo-Latin American Organization, the Finnish Institute in Rome, the Polish Institute in Rome, the Slovak Institute in Rome, the Swiss Institute, the Embassy of New Zealand in Italy and the Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome.
