A day dedicated to sport and inclusion.
This is the spirit behind the Wheelchair Rugby Challenge, taking place on Saturday 7 March at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Viale Tiziano, starting at 1 pm.
On a special day for the sport, as Italy and England face each other in the Six Nations Championship in Rome, Italian rugby legend Martin Castrogiovanni, together with fellow collaborators, is organising an event devoted to wheelchair rugby, a discipline he has long supported through his Rugby Castro Academy.
The event is open to everyone and free of charge, offering families, supporters and lovers of the game the opportunity to share an experience built around shared values, inclusion and personal growth.
Spectators will have the chance to watch a friendly match between a selection of former Italian internationals and the Wheelchair Rugby All Stars.
Light-heartedness, enjoyment and meaningful moments of reflection are at the heart of what promises to be an unmissable event.
The event is delivered with the support of the Assessorato Grandi Eventi, Sport, Turismo e Moda di Roma Capitale (Department for Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion of Roma Capitale).
The programme may be subject to change.
