The Sala Umberto Theater presents a series of matinee performances dedicated to classical and chamber music, under the artistic direction of pianist and composer Lorenzo Porta del Lungo, organized by the Suono e Immagine Association. The series offers a sonic journey through diverse languages and sensibilities, renewing its musical offerings with the aim of spreading the pleasure of listening to and understanding classical music, including through online lessons preparatory to the concerts and live events.
We remind you of the events on Sunday, February 8th with I Solisti Ambrosiani, Non può morir chi non è vivo, a program featuring the most important Italian composers of the Baroque period; and on Sunday, March 15th with Promenades, a sonic journey for flute, violin, and piano, featuring with music by I. Clarke, M. Bonis, B. Martinů, D. D. Shostakovich, and Nino Rota. The season ends on Sunday, May 3rd with a piano recital by Lorenzo Porta del Lungo, featuring music by Mendelssohn, Debussy, and Ravel.
