On 28 and 29 December, the famous Italian singer-songwriter returns to the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone for two unmissable dates of her 2025 theatre tour.
Carmen Consoli takes to the stage to meet her audience once again, accompanying them on a powerful and refined musical journey of sharing, experimentation and exploration, through the intimate and engaging acoustics of the theatre halls.
Passionate and unique, the “cantantessa” recently released Amuri Luci, her latest album of new songs, the first part of “tre anime” (three souls), a project in Sicilian, ancient Greek, and Latin that explores the theme of identity and collective consciousness through history, myths and legends.
Her elegant and authentic music comes from the combination of different worlds ─ folk tradition, 1970s rock, 1990s indie, songwriting and blues ─ which intertwine from time to time, redefining, through coherent and recognisable harmonies, the creative project involving her. Described by Jon Parelles of the New York Times as a "magnificent combination of rocker and intellectual... a voice full of pain, compassion and strength", the singer-songwriter from Catania boasts an extraordinary career studded with great successes: from performing on stage at the Olympic Stadium as the first Italian artist to participating in the celebrations of the anniversary of Bob Marley's death in Ethiopia, from her two international tours to concerts with Elvis Costello.
Songwriter and singer of songs such as Parole di burro, L'ultimo bacio, and Confusa e felice, Carmen Consoli has received numerous awards during her extraordinary career, including the Targa Tenco, Amnesty International Italia Award, Nastro d'Argento, MTV Europe Music Awards, Italian Music Awards, and Premio Lunezia, as well as being appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and Ambassador for Telefono Rosa.
