From 5 to 21 December, eleven churches throughout the city host a series of free concerts and recitals as part of Christmas Gala, an evocative event organised by the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and the Assessorato ai Grandi Eventi, Sport, Turismo e Moda di Roma Capitale.
Scheduled for every weekend before Christmas, as well as on December 8 and 17, this unmissable event combines art and spirituality with a repertoire ranging from sacred music to gospel, from opera arias to traditional Christmas carols.
On stage, surrounded by the solemnity of sacred places, are the extraordinary young artists of the Scuola di Canto Corale and Fabbrica Young Artist Program, with the special participation of choirs from the territory of Rome, in a captivating interweaving of lights, voices and emotions.
