INSIEME

From 19 to 21 September, Piazza Anco Marzio in Ostia Lido hosts a cultural event that brings together two historic artistic groups for the first time: the 100 Pittori Via Margutta and the Circolo Artistico Lorenzo Viani.

INSIEME aims to highlight the value of art as an element of aggregation and cultural exchange, which is necessary for living in harmony in a large metropolis, for knowing and being known by others.

Three days of great cultural and social impact, bringing together beauty, color, artistic research, and the enchanting Ostia seafront: a moment of gathering that features contemporary art in its countless facets as well as jazz music, and entertainment by leading groups and personalities on the national scene.

The inauguration takes place on Friday, 19 September, at 6 p.m., in the presence of institutional representatives and personalities from the world of culture and entertainment,including actors Sebastiano Somma and Flavio Gismondi, and stuntman and actor Massimo Vanni. Journalist Stefania Vaghi moderates. Following the inauguration are the musical performances by Lorenzo Grilli and the Third Class Tap Band.

On Saturday, 20 September, at the same hour, musical entertainment features Lorena Proietti Quintet. From 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the two days following the inauguration, Piazza Anco Marzio becomes a large open-air contemporary art gallery with over 1,000 works on display in characteristic settings with easels and sun umbrellas.

The traditional Via Margutta exhibition began in the autumn of 1953, at the height of the ‘Dolce Vita’ celebrated by FEDERICO FELLINI, as a spontaneous initiative by a group of painters.
