From July 24 to 27, 2025, the Rome Touristic Harbour—now an art and culture space open to all—will host the first edition of Ostia IN Corto, a new short film festival, a free showcase of short films. The festival features four evenings, each with its own theme, with a single goal: to celebrate the new emerging talents. The festival prioritizes directors under 35, presenting original and innovative works of short film; an opportunity to discover new languages, visions, and territories.
The festival presents a selection of short films produced in recent years that have made their mark on the Italian and international film festival scene, offering inspiration for constructive and stimulating dialogue. Ostia IN Corto is therefore more than just a festival: it is a place for encounters and learning, with masterclasses, meetings, and activities designed to engage students, enthusiasts, and professionals.
Ostia IN Corto is a short film festival promoted by Gruppo Matches through its film division, GM Production, with the support of the MiC and SIAE as part of the "Per Chi Crea" program. The artistic direction is by Alberto De Angelis, a film professional, supported by Cristina Borsatti, head of GM Production.
