Social Football Summit 2024

Born in 2018 and organized by the digital company Go Project and the start-up Social Media Soccer, SFS - Social Football Summit is the first and only international B2B event in Italy dedicated to the world of football and the development of the football industry in a sustainable way. The event sees the participation of professionals, executives and decision-makers representing institutions, federations, leagues, clubs, brands, media, companies, startups and SMEs. It represents a concrete opportunity to share and generate innovative and diversified contents and business models, identify training paths, encourage the dissemination of best practices and networking, and promote the creation of events able to offer an accessible, sustainable and inclusive experience.

Hosted at the Olympic Stadium, the 2024 edition will be attended by over 150 speakers and all the Italian sports institutions. The programme is spread over two days, 19 and 20 November, and includes a new format with five stages and over 90 panels, a double exhibition space with an area dedicated to companies from all over the world and three floors available for networking and sharing know-how. The event's Charity partner is Ail - Italian Association against Leukaemia-lymphoma and Myeloma, which aims to involve patients in initiatives offered by football clubs and industry players. The Sala della Protomoteca in Campidoglio will instead host the gala evening of the SFS Awards, established in 2018 to honour excellence in the football industry, focusing on business, sustainability and innovation. The SFS Awards are presented to professionals and organisations that have distinguished themselves during the football season, showcasing their skills and achieving outstanding results in several categories, for example for example “Female Leadership in Football”, “Campaign of the Year”, “Leader in Social Responsibility and Impact”, “Best Content Creator”, “Best Marketing and Sponsor Activation” and “Best Format and Football Community”.

This event is part of the ROMA SMART TOURISM project, promoted by Roma Capitale with funding from the Ministero del Turismo within the framework of the fund in favour of municipalities with a cultural, historical, artistic, and landscape vocation, in whose territories are located sites recognised by Unesco as World Heritage Sites.
