Creating connections between museums, cultural sites and commercial activities in the district to know the area through innovative and captivating itineraries: this is the purpose of MusEQ, an interactive and personalized digital guide.
The project was carried out by GruppoMeta with the support of local associations (Piazza Vittorio APS and Esquilino chiama Roma) and the partnership of Centrale Montemartini and Museo Nazionale Romano, two museums that most represent this territory and its history.
Born from an idea of the Esquilino Vivo association, MusEQ is a cultural narration to discover, create and share content and itineraries through the website, a dedicated mobile app, and a network of devices, such as video projections in hotels, commercial activities and historical stores, and interactive totems in partner museums.
The use is also made more intuitive by the beacons, sensors located inside historical shops, churches, professional offices, pharmacies and meeting places: when you are near one of the points of interest, you will receive a notification on your mobile phone, so as not to miss fascinating facts, places, and routes in the district.
Experts and art historians created the many contents available: from original itineraries to information about points of interest such as basilicas, fountains, gardens, museums, palaces, and archaeological sites, up to compelling stories linked to the Rione.
