Established in 1991, it has its seat in the house in which the writer lived. The association owns the personal Archive comprising the works by Moravia and the Archive of photographic documents and audiovisual material. Its aim is the creation of a Center of documentation and studies on the work of the writer. It annually calls for the Premio Moravia for Italian and foreing novels. It promotes several cultural initiatives and publishes the semiannual review "Quaderni".
