Major model-making event

On 9 and 10 May, the former ATAC depot in San Paolo will host the second edition of Model Hobby Roma, an event inviting enthusiasts, professionals and the curious to immerse themselves in a fascinating world of meticulous detail, technical ingenuity and creativity.

The event, which confirms Rome as a key hub in the world of model-making, is free to enter and offers an immersive experience featuring exhibitions, live demonstrations and interactive activities for all ages.

Model Hobby Roma 2026 features the participation of numerous associations and organisations from the sector and boasts a packed programme, including over 150 metres of model railway layouts with moving trains, large operational dioramas and historical reconstructions (including the Colosseum in ancient times), as well as areas dedicated to static modelling, LEGO and Mini4WD. Don’t miss the workshops open to the public, activities for children, exhibitions, presentations and the numerous initiatives for enthusiasts and families.

Model Hobby Roma 2026 is organised by the associations united under FRA – Fermodellisti Romani Associati, with the support of Roma Capitale and the participation of key partners and organisations in the sector.
