EURO 2020, the UEFA Festival begins

Piazza del Popolo
from 11 June 2021 to 11 July 2021

Sports, shows, music, tournaments open to citizens, cultural and recreational activities for children, moments of meeting, and social occasions: the UEFA Festival, the event that every day, for a month, accompanies the matches of the European Football Championships in complete safety, starts.

At the heart of the UEFA Festival is the Football Village in Piazza del Popolo, which hosts two macro-areas. The first features a stage dedicated to shows, entertainment, music, and cultural initiatives and two giant screens on which spectators can follow all UEFA EURO 2020 matches. In the second, the stands, managed by the various UEFA EURO 2020 sponsors, offer entertainment activities and gastronomic products, 3-on-3 soccer and Teqball fields open to citizens, a play area for children.

Four Hotspots are around the Football Village, exactly on Piazza San Silvestro, Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, Piazza Mignanelli, and Largo dei Lombardi. And outside the Media Center of the Terrazza del Pincio, set up for journalists and international media, a Food Area offers the main products of the Roman culinary and gastronomic tradition. The Dome, instead, a vault with a diameter of 10 meters, hosts an exhibition with memorabilia and historical photos of the Italian national team.

The UEFA Festival in Piazza del Popolo can host a total of 2,000 people. The exhibition area can accommodate 1,000 people who can access it after measuring their body temperature and completing a special self-certification at the entrance. Dedicated to shows, entertainment, and the broadcasting of all UEFA EURO 2020 matches, it has a capacity of 1,000 seats. Daily reservations are required via euro2020roma.com to access it. The entrance is free and is only allowed if you book on the site from midnight on the day of the event. There are three booking intervals: from 10 to 13:50, from 14 to 19:50 from 20 at the end of the matches, and never after 23:45. Between one shift and the next, the areas are completely emptied and sanitized.

On the big screen installed in the Imperial Fora, you can follow the matches at the Olympic Stadium. The total capacity is 1000 people. To attend the competitions in person, you must book on euro2020roma.com from midnight on the day of the event. You can access the area after measuring your body temperature and completing a special self-certification at the entrance.

All information on how to access the various areas and structures that make up the Fan Zone in Rome (Football Village, the Hotspots near Via del Corso, the Media Center on the Terrazza del Pincio, the large screen in Via dei Fori Imperiali) can be consulted on the euro2020roma.com website and on the UEFA EURO 2020 app.
