Until 11 July, a rich program of meetings, talks, dance, and music, organized by the city cultural institutions, awaits you at the UEFA 2020 Football Village in Piazza del Popolo, the village with free admission - with reservations required on www.euro2020roma.com.

Among the scheduled events, the prestigious calendar of events proposed by Roma Culture – Dipartimento Attività Culturali with the programming coordination of Zètema Progetto Cultura, sees the participation of some of the most important cultural institutions in the city with events dedicated to great music ranging from jazz to classical and opera, dance, presentations editorials, and Cinema.

Sunday 20 June, the day of Italy - Wales, the Rome Opera House opens with a double morning performance. At 10.15 am, the students of the Opera Theater Dance School perform, directed by Laura Comi; at 11.45 am, you can attend the concert of the young talents of the Fabbrica Young Artist Program. Their second performance is on Tuesday 29 June at 4.15 pm. At 9 pm, at the end of the match, Irene Grandi awaits you at the main stage for a concert that traces her 25 years of career as a refined performer with a rock soul.

On Monday 21 June, double appointment. At 11.15, trombonist Michele Pavese and his jazz ensemble present Roman Classic Jazz Heritage, a concert that traces fifty years of jazz history starting from the spirituals, blues, and funeral marches of New Orleans up to Chicago, to swing, to Gershwin and Duke Ellington. At 3.45 pm, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia proposes La junta escondida. Iracundo - Tango Passion, an original representation to return a different sense of tango and break down the labels attributed to it over time.

On Friday 25 June, every 30 minutes starting at 6 pm, the Biblioteche di Roma institution brings the authors of four important publications dedicated to football to the stage: at 6 pm, Giorgio Ghiotti and his book Dio giocava a calcio (Nottetempo, 2013); at 6.30 pm and 7 pm, the journalist Marino Bartoletti, author of the children series La squadra dei sogni (Gallucci, 2020) and with Daniele Manusia and his book Daniele De Rossi o dell'amore reciproco (66and2nd, 2020); at 7.30 pm, Sandro Bonvissuto and his work La gioia fa parecchio rumore (Einaudi, 2020).

Sunday 27 June at 11.15 am, an appointment with the wild rhythms of the swing of the 30s, 40s, and 50s with the Conosci mia cugina? swing show.

On Sunday 4 July at 11.15 am, the Luca Velotti Quartet takes you on a journey through the history of classical jazz. At 8 pm, instead, the artists of the Rome in the world project await you for the show dedicated to Roman music from the stornello to rap.

On Sunday 4 July at 6 pm, in collaboration with the Fondazione Cinema per Roma and Casa del Cinema, Giorgio Gosetti meets the theater, film, and television actress Lucia Mascino.

Friday 9 July, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia proposes: at 11.15, an appointment with children between 6 and 12 years of age with the show/concert Noi siamo la musica, to bring the little ones closer to the language of music and its main components; at 9.30 pm, the arches of Santa Cecilia, directed by maestro Luigi Piovano, take you on a journey to discover film music and its great composers with the concert Cinema for strings. On the program Piovani, Morricone, Tchaikovsky and Astor Piazzolla.

On Friday 9 July at 6 pm, Mario Sesti meets the Andrea Carpenzano and Leonardo D’Agostini duo, respectively the protagonist and director of Il Campione.

The music returns with two exceptional events to close UEFA 2020.

Saturday 10 July at 6 pm, you can attend the exciting performance of Micol Arpa Rock, the famous artist who revolutionized the world of the harp by transforming it into a rock instrument. Thanks to her harp, she arranges songs by legendary artists such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Springsteen, Bowie, Nirvana, and many more.

Sunday 11 July is the final day of the tournament. At 11.15 am, the Michael Supnick Sweetwater Jazz Band, with its unmistakable style, is ready to transform Piazza del Popolo into the New Orleans of the golden age when small orchestras met to give birth to overwhelming jam sessions.
