Dedicated to children, but not only, are the Christmas Villages, a plunge into the Christmas atmosphere of fairy tales among animations, themed attractions, shows, parades and wonderful surprises.
Festa di Piazza Navona 2025, until 6 January. The beating heart of Roman Christmas turns the square into a large stage: crafts, quality products, services for Romans, a rich calendar of evening events, traditional Befana markets with handmade creations, unique products, gastronomic delights, and many initiatives for children, all culminating on 6 January, the day of the eagerly awaited arrival of the Befana.
Natale a Cinecittà World (Christmas at Cinecittà World), until 6 January.The Cinema and TV Park in Rome invites you to plunge into the magic of Christmas: the Christmas Village, Santa's House, Christmas Street, with trees, garlands and spectacular decorations, the Christmas Show, Santa's Post Office, Meet & Greet with Santa Claus and Christmas film characters, snowfall on Main Street and the ice rink, for an exciting and fun festive season.
Magic Christmas at MagicLand, until 6 January.The most magical time of the year is brought to life at MagicLand with Magic Christmas, an extraordinary adventure to experience the spirit of Christmas, with decorations, artistic lighting and themed music, Santa's Castle, with an enchanted path to Santa Claus, where you can take a souvenir photo and receive a unique and precious gift.
Natale all'EUR - Christmas Village, until 6 January. The lake in the iconic EUR district is the setting for the enchanting Christmas village organised by the IX Municipio. Lots of original gift ideas at the Christmas stands, a rich selection of traditional local, Italian and international food proposed by the wooden houses, illuminated by strings of lights, the impressive and majestic Ferris wheel, to be inaugurated on 8 December, the ice rink and playground, and for children, Santa's House, where they can leave a letter with their wishes.
Il Villaggio di Natale di Piazza Mazzini (The Christmas Village in Piazza Mazzini), until 6 January.The Christmas market is back again this year at the Gardens in Piazza Mazzini, with its charming little houses decorated in a Christmas theme and sparkling lights. The market offers traditional local products and handicrafts, Christmas decorations, sweets and delicacies, gift ideas to put under the tree and lots of music and magical moments for the whole family.
Borgo di Babbo Natale (Santa Claus Village), until 6 January. A place where imagination takes shape: 20,000 square metres of sparkles, spectacular settings and attractions turn this magical site into a real North Pole corner, with exciting attractions, circus shows, musicals and sparkling lights.
Il Fantastico Castello di Babbo Natale, on weekends in December, 8 and 26 December, and 6 January. Santa Claus awaits you in his Fantastic Santa Claus Castle of the Fantastico Mondo del Fantastico, on an exciting and surprising journey of discovery with great shows, special events, encounters, magic, acrobatics, and lots of surprises.
Chrismas World, until 11 January. The spectacular open-air event returns to illuminate Villa Borghese with over 40,000 square metres of pure enchantment: a journey through the world Christmas atmosphere with an even more lively, engaging and original edition, featuring light installations, spectacular settings, sparkling reconstructions of the most iconic cities, performances, attractions, themed food experiences, Christmas markets, together with the village's symbolic characters, such as Santa Claus and his elves.
Giftland, la città del regalo, from 6 to 14 December. During the first two weekends of the month, the Vintage Market becomes the perfect place for gifts, with food, music, and activities for all ages. A 6,000 m² market with more than 200 exhibitors from all over Italy, offering crafts, illustrations, ceramics, home décor, design, vinyl records and books, clothing, children's games, organic cosmetics, Christmas decorations, garlands, neon lights, plants and flowers, artisan panettone and Christmas sweets. The food area is the ideal place for breakfast, lunch, and tasty aperitifs, as well as for mulled wine and hot chocolate. Children can enjoy numerous activities, such as creative workshops, animated readings, games, as well as the presence of Santa Claus for a magical souvenir photo.
Japan Days for Christmas, on 13 and 14 December. The magic of Christmas and Japanese culture mix in the evocative spaces of Rome's historical Ippodromo Capannelle. Two days of ancient traditions and exciting pop culture, featuring unique shopping opportunities in the market area with over 100 exhibitors, shows, workshops, talks, showcases, live cooking, entertainment for children and families, delicious food, and special guests, in a truly unforgettable experience for all lovers of Japanese culture.
Mercatino di natale al Borghetto - Christmas at Borghetto, on 13 and 14 December. Two days of crafts, rural food, gospel music, swap parties, traditional local products, workshops for kids, and Christmas packages at the Fattoria Didattica Borghetto San Carlo.

FRA’ – Fiera del Regalo Accessibile, on 6-7-8, 13 -14 and 20–21 December. Now in its ninth edition, Frà di Fusolab 2.0 offers a different way to experience the approach of Christmas and has created the first Christmas event that aims to overturn the excessive consumerism of this time of year in the name of accessibility, setting the maximum cost of each individual product at €50 and maintaining the excellent quality and uniqueness of each handcrafted object thanks to the work, passion and commitment of its creator.
Emergency Christmas Shop, until 24 December. The initiative is present in 24 Italian cities, including Rome: in the temporary shop at Via IV Novembre 157/B, you can find many gift ideas, including products from the countries where Emergency works or from solidarity organisations, to support the right to healthcare in Italy and around the world.
Christmas Market in Via Ugo Ojetti, from 8 to 26 December. The market offers a wide range of gift ideas for the upcoming holidays, including Christmas crafts, decorations, traditional products, and more, as well as workshops and charity initiatives.
Solara Garden Christmas Village, from 1 November to 11 January. The largest store entirely dedicated to Christmas decorations, with over 3,000 square metres of exhibition space, is now open. A unique project that, since 1997, has been recreating the magic of the festive season in Casal Palocco, in the heart of southern Rome, with special lights, sweet fragrances, trees, nativity scenes and decorative and furnishing items from all over the world.
