Mac Saxophone Quartet feat. Rosario Giuliani

The evening at the Casa del Jazz presents a truly original musical project by one of the most innovative quartets of the Italian school, which sees the art of improvisation typical of the jazz language unite in perfect harmony with musical styles belonging to the past.

Thanks to the unusual arrangements prepared by M° Mario Corvini that highlight both the refined technique of Rosario Giuliani and the fascinating timbres of the MAC Saxophone Quartet, we can listen to new sounds and live a unique musical experience, through a millennium of masterpieces ranging from the ancient Gregorian antiphonaries and medieval laudari, to the Renaissance counterpoint of the Roman and Venetian schools, up to melodrama, all in a jazz version.
