Experience the Castle of Santa Severa

Until August 30th, Santa Severa Castle returns to the centre of the Lazio summer, with a rich calendar of events dedicated to music, theater, cinema, literature, and contemporary art. For the summer season, the historic fortress overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea is transformed into a large open-air cultural space, welcoming the public to a captivating and evocative setting.

Thanks to the "Experience Santa Severa Castle 2026" event, promoted by the Lazio Region and organized by LAZIOcrea, with the artistic direction of ATCL – Circuito Multidisciplinare del Lazio, the large lawn at the foot of the castle comes alive with shows, concerts, and initiatives designed to engage tourists, families, residents, and visitors of all ages.

The monumental complex, owned by the Lazio Region and managed by LAZIOcrea in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Santa Marinella, thus confirms its position as one of the main cultural and tourist centers on the Lazio coast.
