On 6 December, at 5:30 p.m., the Paul VI Hall in the Vatican will host the sixth edition of the ‘Concerto Con i Poveri’ (Concert with the Poor), with the special participation of award-winning Canadian artist Michael Bublé.
The ‘Concerto Con i Poveri’ is the annual event that combines music, fraternity and solidarity.
In the Jubilee Year of Hope, the Concert will feature Michael Bublé – one of the most important voices on the world stage – performing for the first time in the Vatican, who has chosen to offer his art for this special occasion. The artist will be accompanied by over 70 members of the Nova Opera Orchestra and 200 members of the Choir of the Diocese of Rome, conducted by Monsignor Marco Frisina, artistic director of the event.
The concert goes beyond a musical performance because it is intended as a concrete gesture of closeness to the poor and excluded. Once again this year, the guests of honour are people in fragile situations – homeless people, migrants, families, people who are alone or in difficulty – invited through the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development – Office of Papal Charities and numerous voluntary associations.
