Fiera Roma is hosting the seventh edition of NSE - New Space Economy, the leading trade fair in the space sector for agencies and institutions, specialised companies, emerging start-ups, universities and research centres.
Organised by Fiera Roma, NSE is currently the only Italian event to be part of the Space Golden League, the prestigious association of the most important European space conferences. an alliance that also includes the European Space Conference in Brussels, the new Munich Space Summit in Munich, and the recent Les Assises du NewSpace in Paris, constituting a very important membership destined to greatly increase the attractiveness and international scope of the event.
Numerous new features are planned for 2025, including the launch of a Scientific Conference led by the Italian Space Agency (ASI), which will take place during the event, bringing together managers, researchers and professionals in the sector to explore the main issues and new challenges facing the development of the Space Economy.
Among the central themes are two events that will be decisive for the future of space activities in Italy and Europe: the implementation of the first Italian Space Law, in force since last June, with implications for the European legislative and regulatory framework, and the results of the European Space Agency Ministerial Council (ESA), scheduled to take place in Bremen (Germany) at the end of November, in which our country is preparing to play a leading role.
The programme offers a large exhibition area with stands and desks for organisations and companies in the sector, as well as important initiatives and activities for exhibitors and audiences. Among the new features are the TechTables, technical boards created to connect experts and exhibitors, collaborative think tanks for professionals and experts from the entire space ecosystem, where new partnerships and projects can be explored and developed.
The NSE Pitch Competition, the annual competition that selects and rewards the most innovative start-ups in the Space Economy, has been confirmed. Some of NSE's traditional assets are also returning: the Arena, a central stage in the exhibition area that hosts events and corporate presentations by exhibitors and sponsors; the Networking and B2B Area, designed to encourage meetings and new connections, especially at an international level; the Educational Hub, an area for training and updating on space issues dedicated to young people, students, professionals and the talents of tomorrow.
In collaboration with the most important companies in the sector, NSE will once again launch its Career Opportunity project this year to facilitate contact and guidance towards real job opportunities in the Space Economy sector and its applications.
