Born in 1964, the artist broke onto the music scene in 1990 with Disperato, a song he performed at the Sanremo Festival, winning the Novità section and the Mia Martini Critics' Award. In the same year, he released his debut album, simply titled with his name, followed by Malinconia (1991), T'innamorerai (1993), and Il cielo della vergine, the album that celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
