The work of architect Igino Pineschi, it was built in the early 1990s and solemnly consecrated by Cardinal Camillo Ruini on 18 November 1995; it is dedicated to Saint Julian, a 2nd-century martyr and co-patron of the city of Sora. It is a parish church, erected on 21 December 1980 by decree of Cardinal Vicar Ugo Poletti The religious situation. On 2 March 1997 the church was visited by Pope John Paul II.
The diaconate of St Julian Martyr, established on 18 February 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI, insists on this church.
