Blue night - Casanova Opera Pop

After the successes and many sold outs in the short preview tour, the musical Casanova Opera Pop by Red Canzian is back at the Brancaccio Theatre. Based on Matteo Strukul's best-seller "Giacomo Casanova - the sonata of broken hearts", a novel with a historical setting translated into over 10 languages, it is the first unpublished musical theater show staged after the reopening of theaters to full capacity.

In the two-hour show in two acts, with 21 extraordinary artists on stage - 11 singers, actors and 10 acrobatic dancers who interpret the Shadows, the Venetians at the Carnival, the nobles in celebration and the choral moments of history - we witness over 30 staging changes immersive scenic, made up of photographs taken in deserted Venice during the pandemic and processed on the computer in order to restore settings of the eighteenth-century city, the bacari, the calli, the aristocratic palaces, the cathedrals, Piazza San Marco, the lagoon and the prison of Leads.

On stage, in the part of Giacomo Casanova we find Gian Marco Schiaretti, one of the most accredited talents in Italy and also abroad; next to him, in the part of the beautiful Francesca Erizzo, who wins his heart, the young Angelica Cinquantini, a well-known face of television dramas.
