ExiliArte: Memoria di una cartella dedicata a Rafael Alberti

Exhibition promoted by the Diputación Provincial de Cádiz with the Academy of Fine Arts of Cadiz and curated by the academician and painter Carmen Bustamante, includes 52 works, including the original folder that was given to Alberti on the occasion of the homage that was organized June 8, 1966 at the Salle de la Mutualité in Paris.

The tribute, organized by the Franco-Spanish Cultural Association of which Jean Cassou was president and which was attended by important figures of French Hispanism and Spanish and Latin American culture such as Alfonso Sastre, Miguel Ángel Asturias Marcel Bataillon, Ana Maria Matute and Dolores Ibarruri, it ended with a poetic musical montage inspired by Alberti's work, after which he was given a folder containing a collection of drawings by a hundred artists, which form the core of this exhibition.
