In the Appia Antica Regional Park and close to the Aurelian Walls, the former Cartiera Latina – one of the few surviving industrial plants in the city of Rome – hosts once again the international art festival, which this year celebrates its tenth birthday.
Curated by painter Roberta Pugno, the event is organized by the Ipazia Immaginepensiero association, with the patronage of the Department of Cultural Growth of the Municipality of Rome and the Lazio Region. The theme chosen for the 2021 edition is “Psyche and art. The revolt of thought in images“: a research on creativity and the thought that underlies it, on the new idea of art that derives from a new conception of the human being.
The festival program is particularly rich in events and guests, with exhibitions, concerts, shows and meetings. Inside the Nagasawa exhibition hall, it is possible to visit the personal exhibitions of Roberta Pugno and Paolo Camiz and the collective exhibition of Daniele Giacomini, Ambra Graziani, Fabio Pagliarin, Stefania Panelli, Maria Grazia Perrelli, Simona Rapanà and Spiritree. A tribute to Riccardo Marchetti is scheduled for 12 September.
Booking and Green Pass required.
