
Local food&wine specialties and a rich calendar of initiatives: Eataly pays tribute to the flavors and aromas of the Lazio region with a special party, featuring farmers and artisans of taste to bring the countryside to the city.
In front of Eataly Roma, 11 local farmers will present their products, strictly organic and sustainable: cheeses and yogurt, legumes and spelled flours, jams, craft beer, and much more. In the interior spaces, the Lazio Producers’ Market, hosted permanently on the ground floor of Eataly, will also be enriched with new proposals, including organic honey, propolis, and royal jelly, mushrooms and truffle sauces from the first regional mushroom farm.
The initiative includes a cycle of free events, where it is possible to learn tricks and secrets for making bread, yogurt and even beeswax at home. Focus also on farmer street food: among the proposals, the “ferratelle” with honey, the “piadina” with ciauscolo salami, chicory and parmesan, the “arancini” with chestnuts and, to satisfy any sweet tooth, “castagnole”, “frappe” and many more Carnival sweets.
