
Fashion shows, tradition and new fashion realities: 4 days dedicated to creativity and Made in Italy with the Roma Fashion Week, organized by Altaroma, on stage until 26 January at the Ex Caserma Guido Reni.
The fifth edition of Showcase Roma, the focal point of the event, reaches its fifth edition: 56 designers - 14 brands per day in rotation - present their autumn/winter 2020-2021 collections.
At the same time, from the Who Is On Next? nursery, Federico Cina, Jing Yu, Hibourama, Iuri, Maiorano, Nahiot Hernandez and Twins Florence, winner and finalists of the fifteenth edition, present their new collections. The only Italian fashion contest to be inserted in the worldwide TOP 10 of Fashion Competition by The Financial Times, Who Is On Next? has, so far, decreed the success of 150 young designers.
On the catwalk, the ateliers with the spring/summer 2020 collections, the designers of the Capitoline territory with the autumn/winter 2020-2021 collections, the emerging brands, and the Academies.
Space to the technological promotion, new skills, and professional profiles in the fashion world with the Digital Fashion Night: wearable bio-materials and digital manufacturing, categories of the "Digital Made. For Young Fashion Talents” contest, which features 40 projects from 16 countries around the world.
Recovery of natural traditions and production solutions with respect for the environment with A. I. Artisanal Intelligence, a platform aimed at identifying and promoting new artisan and artistic expressions in line with the most current trends of creativity.
Portfolio Review, a project created in collaboration with Vogue Italia, is back again this year: Sara Sozzani Maino, deputy director of Vogue Italia and head of Vogue Talents, and Simonetta Gianfelici, Fashion Consultant & Talent Scout, reunite to evaluate talents, younger than 40, engaged in fashion.
