From Aglianico del Vulture, to Nero d’Avola, Primitivo or Negroamaro, the South of Italy boasts a long tradition in the production of excellent wines and is home to great intense and fragrant reds, an expression of a land and a millenary culture. Beviamoci Sud, the first festival of red wines from Southern Italy, organized by the Riserva Grande agency in collaboration with the journalist Luciano Pignataro and Percorsi Di Vino Wine Blog, offers an opportunity to discover their varieties and terroirs.
Campania, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily are the regions represented, but there is also a small delegation of winemakers from southern Lazio. During the two days of the festival, tasting counters and seminars hosted in the halls of the Radisson Blu Hotel allow experts, enthusiasts and operators to taste over 200 labels of the most representative companies of the area, carefully selected in order to guarantee a high quality standard.
