Raffaello Sanzio, Autoritratto
from 16 January 2020 to 31 December 2020

In 2020 Rome celebrates three important anniversaries, that of the director Federico Fellini and the actor Alberto Sordi who would both have turned 100, as well as the 500 years since the death of Raffaello Sanzio, on April 6, 1520.

Until 28 February, the Salone Vanvitelliano of the Libreria Angelica hosts the exhibition Federico Fellini Ironico, beffardo e centenario, which reconstructs the artist's multifaceted personality through 30 images selected from the collection of the Fototeca Nazionale of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, accompanied by an autograph writing from a private collection.

In March, the Alberto Sordi Foundation celebrates the centenary of Alberto Sordi's birth with the installation of a multimedia path inside the villa where the actor lived, which will be open until June.

Scheduled in April, in the splendid rooms of Palazzo Venezia, the exhibition Fellini 100. Genio immortale, currently set up in Rimini, the director’s birthplace.

On 5 March, at the Scuderie del Quirinale, the exhibition dedicated to Raphael Sanzio, Raffaello, will open to the public, with a path that includes a very rich corpus of about two hundred between paintings, drawings and comparison works. The exhibition, created in collaboration with the Uffizi Gallery, will be open until 2 June. You can already buy tickets for the exhibition and workshops for families online.
