Ghost

Ghost, an exciting and engaging musical like few others, is coming to the stage of the Sistina theater.

With a new production of Show Bees, directed by Federico Bellone, rewritten for the stage by the same screenwriter, Bruce Joel Rubin, the musical presents a faithful transposition of the Paramount cult movie of the 90s, a worldwide success, winner of a Golden Globe and two Oscars (for the script and best supporting actress), starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore.

The love story which still makes us dreaming and moving and which manages to harmonize romantic comedy and thriller, has a compelling plot: it tells the lives of Sam banker in New York and the young artist Molly and how they are upset by his murder. Sam, once he has become a ghost, uses the fraudolent medium Oda Mae through which he manifests himself to Molly. The two, trying to convince Molly of the existence of an ultra earthly life, manage to unmask the instigator of Sam's murder.

This production is also enriched by special effects, (the ghosts that take shape entering and exiting bodies or passing through the doors), which see the collaboration of Paolo Carta, a great illusionist, and the wonderful soundtrack, arranged by two music international stars like Dave Stewart, former member of the Eurythmics and Glen Ballard, among the authors of the musician Alanis Morissette.

Finally, we can listen to the unmissable song Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers, this movie leitmotiv, which has always enchanted the public.
