On 10 and 11 July, the Terrace of the Pincio host the 4th edition of Ensemble, two evenings of fashion featuring catwalk shows by Roman academies and ateliers, organised by the Assessorato ai Grandi Eventi, Sport, Turismo e Moda di Roma Capitale and Assessorato allo Sviluppo economico, Artigianato, Industria of the Lazio Region to promote training, creativity and craftsmanship.
The first evening, on 10 July, is dedicated to the talent, training and skills of the younger generation who represent the future of Italian fashion, with the participation of: the Accademia di Belle Arti di Frosinone, Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Accademia Italiana, Accademia Koefia, Accademia del Lusso, Maiani Accademia Moda, and Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori.
On 11 July, the event celebrates the value of Rome’s fashion ateliers and contemporary haute couture, featuring designers Franco Ciambella, Giada Curti, Nino Lettieri, Antonio Martino Couture, Michele Miglionico, Sabrina Persechino, Jamal Taslaq, and Gian Paolo Zuccarello, who, through their work, continue to interpret the heritage of Italian couture with a contemporary vision, keeping alive the dialogue between sartorial tradition, innovation and creative exploration.
This edition represents another step forward in the project launched in recent years by Roma Capitale to bring fashion back to the heart of the city’s cultural and economic life, highlighting the role of the ateliers, supporting designers, creating tangible opportunities for young talent and fostering dialogue between education and the profession. With two days dedicated to the younger generation and the leading figures of contemporary haute couture, Ensemble presents a vision of fashion as a cultural, creative and productive system that can generate value for the city, protect the heritage of the ateliers, support the training of the younger generation and strengthen Rome’s role as the capital of creativity, manufacturing excellence, and Italian haute couture.
The event is part of the Roma Smart Tourism project, funded by the Ministero del Turismo as part of a programme supporting municipalities with strong cultural, historical, artistic, and landscape heritage, including areas home to UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
