32nd edition of the historic “Corri per la Befana” road race
Two days of sport dedicated to all runners and sports enthusiasts, as well as families, teenagers and children who wish to take part in the non-competitive events, such as the Befana Happy Run, and to join Aspettando la Befana on 5 January.
Programme of events
- 10.1 km competitive race.
- Non-competitive 10.1 km “Corri per la Befana” (recreational physical activity), run or walked at a free pace. Open to everyone aged 14 and over on the date of the event. Registration is also possible on the day of the event up to 20 minutes before the start.
- Non-competitive “Befana Happy Run”, approximately 3 km, run or walked at a free pace. Open to all, with registration also available on the day of the event up to 20 minutes before the start.
The entire route runs within Parco degli Acquedotti, with the finish line in Via Lemonia.
The event is valid as the Trofeo Scolastico della Befana Memorial Stella Manzi, with a prize awarded to the school with the highest number of participants.
Aspettando la Befana will take place on 5 January 2026 at the sports ground of the Church of San Policarpo.

The event is included in the FIDAL Lazio Regional Calendar and the Centro Sportivo Italiano calendar, and is organised under the patronage of the Regione Lazio, Municipio Roma VII di Roma Capitale, FIDAL Lazio, and the Centro Sportivo Italiano.
