Now in its 12th edition and sponsored by Roma Capitale, CONI, and OPES Italia, Corri Bravetta was founded in 2011 based on an idea by Marco Marino, president of ASD Bravetta Runners, to promote sports, specifically track and field, in his municipality, bringing the whole city together.
This year, the event is scheduled for Sunday, 14 September at 8 a.m. The race will start at 9 a.m. from Via dei Capasso. The 10 km route, which is completely closed to traffic, runs along Via Aurelia Antica, crosses Villa Pamphili, exits onto Via Silvestri, and closes the loop back at Via dei Capasso. The competitive race is open to FIDAL and EPS registered athletes (born in 2009 or earlier) and Italian and foreign citizens in possession of a personal RunCard and a competitive medical certificate.
The event also includes a non-competitive 10 km race open to everyone, with no need for membership of an association or a competitive medical certificate.
