An immersive journey through architecture and design, innovation and sustainability. Promoted and organized by the Order of Architects of Rome and its province, FAR - Rome Architecture Festival will once again enliven the spaces of the Casa dell’Architettura and the garden of the monumental complex of the Acquario Romano with a rich program of meetings, talks, exhibitions, installations, film screenings, and music, also opening up to new languages thanks to the involvement of podcasters, influencers, and content creators.
Among the new features of the festival, which celebrates its seventh edition this year, are “Colazioni con l’Architett@” (Breakfast with the Architect, from 8 to 11 a.m.) and “Itineraries through Architecture”, with routes from Via Appia to Via del Pellegrino, from the Esquilino district to Termini Station, and a special itinerary dedicated to photography. In addition to MATCH, Design!, the format for discussion between critics and designers on the themes of materials and living, FAR 2025 also features evenings dedicated to cinema, with screenings and debates aimed at offering a cross-cutting and engaging perspective on architecture.
There will also be numerous contributions from abroad: international conferences are planned with guests such as Tatiana Bilbao (Mexico), Giancarlo Mazzanti (Colombia), Amelia Tavella (Corsica) and Ulisses Studio (Spain), as well as numerous debates between architects from Rome and Italy, in a dialogue that intertwines past, present and future. Throughout the festival, the monumental garden of the complex will host the installation EDICOLA: Comunità in Rete designed by the Aut Aut Architettura studio, winner of the FAR call for projects.
