Interest in the Pilgrims' Ways is growing worldwide and in recent years, a renewed awareness and focus on sustainability have made them one of the most popular forms of experiential tourism.
The Jubilee 2025 is the perfect opportunity to walk the sections of the Via Francigena, the Via Francigena in the South and the Saint Francis Walk that lead to Rome, because walking towards Rome is a continuous discovery among nature, spirituality, history and encounters along the road: a way to get back in touch with oneself, through the slowness of the journey and the deep emotions that emerge step by step.
Saturday 14 June sees the start of the penultimate stage of the Via Francigena in the South from Velletri to the Cathedral of San Pancrazio in Albano Laziale.
