A very special event involved Palazzo Esposizioni Roma, enhancing it in a wonderful way, with the permanent lighting of its façade, the result of an innovative collaboration between Palaexpo, Areti and Roma Capitale. The Councilor for Public Works Ornella Segnalini, the CEO of Areti Raffaele De Marco and the President of Azienda Speciale Palaexpo Marco Delogu participated in the inspection and the official lighting, which took place on the evening of May 8 during a public event.
The intervention, entirely carried out by Areti, a company of the Acea Group that deals with the distribution of electricity in the Capital, with an investment of 40 thousand euros, was approved by the Department of Infrastructure and Public Works and the Superintendency, contributing to transforming the lighting of the main façade of the Palace, thanks to the replacement of the old obsolete system with a cutting-edge LED system. In fact, 20 60W projectors were installed, for a total consumption of approximately 1.2 kW.
The new system allows for the creation of different lighting scenarios and the regulation of light intensity, for personalized and efficient lighting; in addition, custom supports for the projectors have been created, with a design approved by the Superintendency. The permanent lighting of the façade of the Palazzo Esposizioni therefore represents a new chapter of light for Rome, combining architectural beauty, technological innovation and environmental sustainability.
