The Parish
The parish was erected on 16 June 1928 with the decree of Cardinal Vicar Basilio Pompili Cum Summus Pontifex and was united pleno lure to the Pia Società Torinese di S. Giuseppe (Giuseppini del Murialdo).Since 1 July 1982 it has been entrusted to the diocesan clergy of Rome. The territory, by decree of the Cardinal Vicar Camillo Ruini of 1 December 1999, was delimited within the following boundaries: Via di Casal Boccone from the intersection with the extension of Via Ugo Ojetti - Via Ugo Ojetti (extension) to Via della Cesarina, crossing the G. R.A. - Via di Tor S. Giovanni, as far as Casale di Tor S. Giovanni - ideal line as far as Fosso Le Spallette (dis. Margherita) - Valle dei Corsi - Via Nomentana from km.17,00 to km.15,00 - Via Palombarese as far as the intersection with Via di Marco Simone- Via di Marco Simone - Fosso di M. Simone to the junction with Via N.Gianni- from here, the route of the former Pratolungo Ditch, parallel to Via N. Gianni and Via S. Giovanni in Argentella, up to and including the Centrale del Latte - Via di S. Alessandro - Via Nomentana up to the intersection with the extension of Via UgoOjetti.Recognition for civil effects was decreed on 16 June 1928.
