The Spring Flamenco Festival, with its three evenings Las Estrellas del Sur, arrives at the Teatro Greco in Rome to celebrate all the charm and passion of this dance, born at the end of the eighteenth century in Andalusia, with a series of shows, master classes of flamenco dancing of various levels, workshops and cultural activities involving internationally renowned Spanish artists.
The three performances by Spanish bailaores - Cristina Aguilera, Leonor Leal, El Junco - ranging from traditional flamenco performances to modern reinterpretations, together with well-known musicians, bring the vitality of Andalusian culture to the stage of this theatre, which represents an important point of reference for the production and diffusion of dance in Italy.
The Spring Flamenco Festival, also created to promote Spanish culture and encourage artistic exchanges between Italy and Spain, is sponsored by the Spanish Embassy in Italy.
