Fans back in its stands and a leading role in international sports with UEFA EURO 2020: it’s a golden moment for the Stadio Olimpico, partly thanks to the recently received Rome Safe Tourism conformity label, which certifies compliance with health protocols in place.
In addition to guaranteeing social distancing, the measures adopted by the large and historic stadium include, for example, the control of body temperature using thermal cameras, the presence of disinfection points and distribution of protective masks and the sanitation of common areas. Both indoors and outdoors, signs and infographics also remind visitors of the rules to be respected and the directions to follow. To ensure maximum safety, all staff are periodically subjected to preventive checks with molecular and antigenic swabs. In short, a further element of trust for tourists who come from all over the world: Rome is a safe city.
The label was issued free of charge by Quaser Certifications Srl, one of the certification companies included in the Register established by Roma Capitale as part of the initiatives aimed at supporting and relaunching the city hospitality supply chain in a broad sense.
