Many digital appointments are scheduled on this day, starting from the activities of the Biblioteche di Roma that celebrate the anniversary with original testimonies, voices, archival documents on the events of those days.

The Facebook page of the Casa delle Memoria e della Storia offers cultural contents and archival materials of great historical-documentary value, including the Io C'ero cycle: six interviews with Micol Fontana, Mario Monicelli, Marisa Cinciari Rodano, Mario Verdone, Rosario Bentivegna, and Giuliano Vassalli. We will listen to the testimonies of the representatives of the associations operating in this institution, as well as to those of relevant historical personalities, of direct and indirect witnesses, of men and women who dedicated their whole existence to democratic rights.
Tonight, the tricolor lights will illuminate the Casa della Memoria e della Storia. The projected light, symbol of ferment and unity, will be accompanied by the beautiful verses of Calvino written for the song Oltre il ponte.

Fondazione Musica per Roma. The hymn symbol, Bella ciao, will resound throughout the day, a real marathon of videos on the Fondazione's social channels with Mimmo Locasciulli, Peppe Voltarelli, Canio Loguercio, Mauro Ottolini, Uri Caine, Petra Magoni, Paolo Fresu, Gabriele Coen, Javier Girotto, Martux and special guest Danilo Rea, Cristina Zavalloni, Paolo Damiani, Daniele Roccato, Ernesto Bassignano, Stefano Saletti, Lucilla Galeazzi, and Kay McCarthy.
Do not miss the choral performance of Bella ciao sung by Petra Magoni, accompanied by an ensemble composed of the best Italian jazz musicians.

Casa del Cinema. On the morning of the 25th, the director Giorgio Gosetti inaugurates the celebrations by proposing a series of reflections on cinema and Liberation in the special Verso il 25 aprile, la festa che non c’è. From We All Loved Each Other So Much by Ettore Scola to Paisà by Roberto Rossellini, from Last Days of Mussolini by Carlo Lizzani to A Difficult Life by Dino Risi: a cinematic journey that will continue throughout the day.
At 12.30 am, the interview 25 aprile 1945, il grande rimosso del cinema italiano, by the journalist and critic Alberto Crespi, with images from The Night of the Shooting Stars by the Taviani brothers and Paisà by Roberto Rossellini.

At 11 am, Ascanio Celestini is the face of the archive video interview of Romaeuropa, re-proposed on the occasion of the celebrations of April 25, with fragments of the show and comments from the actor.

At 9 pm, Ascanio Celestini gives us an appointment on the social channels of the Teatro di Roma, to underline the importance of the role of the stage as a meeting place of freedom.

At 11 am, the web channels of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia propose the Canti di Prigionia di Dallapiccola performed by the Orchestra and Choir of Santa Cecilia conducted by Markevitch in 1954. This historical recording underlines the symbolic value of one of the highest examples of music of protest that has ever been composed.

At 12.00, the musical relay takes you directly to the social and YouTube channel of the Teatro dell' Opera in Rome, where the guys from the Cantoria del Teatro dell'Opera, each from their own home, Il canto degli Italiani.

The Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali participates in the celebrations with a message of remembrance entrusted to a historical archaeological post dedicated to Porta San Paolo, the scene of a great battle during the Resistance. And also with Intervista sulla pace, a video recorded at the Ara Pacis Museum, during a conversation with Dacia Maraini.

Palazzo delle Esposizioni celebrates Liberation Day with the winning photo of the World Press Photo 2020, the prestigious international photojournalism competition that rewards the best professionals in the sector. Yasuyoshi Chiba's Straight Voice winning shot, portrays a young man, illuminated by his companions' cell phones, while reciting poetry during a protest demonstrating a democratic government for Sudan, on a blackout in Khartoum, on June 19, 2019.

MPI - The Essential Quarantine Playlist is back on the Spotify channel of the MACRO MUSEUM, a sound path and a moment of listening with unpublished associations and evocations around the theme of Liberation and Resistance.

At 18.00, the digital channels of Santa Cecilia will air a double symphony by Mozart and Mahler, conducted by the Maestro Manfred Honeck. On the Accademia di Santa Cecilia and of the LUISS Guido Carli University social networks, Antonio Pappano will talk about the role of music as a source of strength and creative energy in dramatic and unprecedented moments like the one we are experiencing.
