From costume tailoring to the creative adventures of great maisons, from glamour in the wake of La Dolce Vita to new trends in sustainable fashion, Rome has a special relationship with fashion. And it has always been a source of inspiration for young style talents who choose the educational paths offered by the city in the field of tailoring.
Precisely in order to enhance the educational excellence in this field, the Department of Great Events, Sports, Tourism and Fashion intends to create, through adherence to a public notice by 12 December 2022, a list of all the entities active in the territory in the training of fashion professionals, such as vocational schools, secondary schools, academies and universities.
The list will then be published on the institutional portal of Roma Capitale and, in addition to fostering awareness of training offerings by citizens, operators and stakeholders in the sector, will help create a thematic database providing infomation and facilitate collaboration and coordination among fashion realities.
