Rediscovering Rome and the Vatican gardens on board a tourist bus

Giardini vaticani
from 8 June 2020 to 30 June 2020

After the stop of the last few months for the health emergency, it is now possible to visit Rome and its wonderful monuments, its places and its historical squares again on board a tourist bus.

Among the first to resume service, the Roma Open Bus company, which returns to tour the historic center by adopting stringent security measures: tickets must be booked online, adults and children have to wear a mask and respect the safety distance. To stay safe, earphones are in sealed disposable packs, buses are equipped with cleansing gel and disinfectant wipes, seats are assigned and vehicles are sanitized. The buses operate for the month of June every day with 8 daily tours, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. With the “special one run family” formula, buses do not make stops and it will therefore not be possible to get on or off during the journey, except in cases of proven need and urgency.

From 1st June it is also possible to visit the Vatican gardens, both on foot and with a tour in ecofriendly and panoramic minibuses that allow visitors to comfortably admire the beauties, works of art and natural wonders of the smallest state in the world. As a security measure, the seats inside the minibus are currently only 12. Visitors have to wear a mask for the entire duration of the visit (about 45 minutes), submit to a temperature check and agree to leave if showing signs of illness (a temperature body equal to or greater than 37.5 °C).
